The Talalay process begins with the tropical rubber tree, nature’s source for the perfect night’s sleep. A state-the-art eco-friendly process transforms this renewable resource into the world’s finest Talalay latex foam.
6 Step Manufacturing Process
1. Compounding: A combination of liquid latex, soap and rubber curing agents are mixed together in a temperature controlled stainless steel tank.
2. Molding: The latex compound for each mattress and pillow is cast in an aluminum mold where a vacuum is created ensuring consistent density throughout the product. The foam is frozen to -20 degrees and then heated to 220 degrees to begin the vulcanization process.
3. Washing: Every pillow and mattress is washed in a multiple stage washer to remove any residual soaps and curing agents using fresh water.
4. Drying: They are then dried to complete the curing process and remove all residual moisture.
5 Quality Testing: Every mattress undergoes a nine-point ILD (Indentation Load Deflection) test to ensure all cores meet stringent quality standards for consistent density
6. Fabrication: Cores are cut, constructed and covered to meet the individual needs of each customer.
